As I've written before, I always enjoy reading booklists. Here's an interesting compilation of recommended reading from contributors to David Horowitz's FrontPage Magazine website. I value this list greatly.
Update 12/20/06 - I'll add to my original post Thomas Sowell's recommended reading printed in his column today. He recommends Melanie Phillips' "Londonistan," David McCullough's "1776", "Choosing the
Right College" and Ann coulter's "Godless" among many others. Of "Godless" he says:
Like her other books, it is a gem — witty and factual, amusing and incisive, logical and angry.
It ranges across a wide sweep of political issues but its unifying theme is that liberalism is a religion, Godless but faith-based, with its faith being in a social vision that is impervious to any facts to the contrary.
For the benefit of the rest of us, Ann Coulter supplies those facts — and they are often devastating to the liberal faith, as her previous books have been.
