"Cyberhymnal"" has a new home: http://www.hymntime.com/tch/. (HT: Between Two Worlds)
Me: This is a website I expect to explore more extensively in the future. In a conversation the other day, the subject of the hymnwriter Fanny Crosby came up. We discussed some of the hymns she has written and wondered how many more there were. A quick look at the Fanny Crosby link on this site offers extensive coverage, including not only a list of all her hymns, but also her pseudonyms. The site also includes the lyrics and melodies of the hymns she wrote. And there are thousands of other hymns and hymn writers listed as well, including more modern hymns and hymn writers also.
The "Cyber Hymnal" says of itself:
This site has over 7,300 Christian hymns & Gospel songs from many denominations. You’ll find lyrics, scores, MIDI files, pictures, history, & more. . . This worship & teaching resource is provided as a public service
