Ed Morrissey grades President Obama's grasp of facts at his press conference last night [my emphases]:
In other words, Obama gets an F in economic history despite supposedly having the best and brightest cribbers working on his staff. He gets an F for honesty as well as an D- on bipartisanship. It’s a lousy start to his four-year class on how to be an executive.
Read Morrissey's post for the data to back up his grades of Obama's grasp of the facts.
What about pork? Morrissey again (different post):
. . . the stimulus bill is essentially an Omnibus Earmark Package. It
consists entirely of local and state projects that would normally only
get funded as earmarks on other appropriations. . .
If it looks like a pig, acts like a pig, gets sold as a pig, and stinks of pork, it’s not difficult to identify it.
