On July 23, 2010 I watched Dr. George Nash deliver a live-streamed talk on "The Conservative Intellectual Movement: Then and Now" and found it well worth posting. Not yet available on YouTube, I have provided a link where the video may be watched. Dr. Nash speaks clearly and interestingly and is well worth watching. He speaks for about an hour,.
The Family Research Council provided this notice:
The conservative movement has gone through several phases in the post World War era. From the Eisenhower years of the immediate post-war era to the Reagan revolution to the neo-conservatism of George Bush, conservatism has carried many labels. Dr. George Nash will examine the post-1945 history and current configuration of the conservative intellectual movement, with emphasis on the various components of the coalition (libertarians, neo-conservatives, social conservatives, etc.) and the challenges it now faces.
Dr. Nash fulfilled FRC's expectations expertly.
