Ian Tuttle has some thoughts. So do I. The media's practice of referring to Mohammed as "The Prophet" demonstrates singular deference, a dhimmitude stance, towards Islam. While the supposedly "secular west" mocks and pillories Christians and Christianity, it tiptoes with exaggerated respect towards Islam no matter how violent and murderous its deeds. Astonishingly, the media refuses to examine authoritative Muslim texts to examine the underpnnings of Muslim savagery. See the expositions of Andrew C. McCArthy, or Muslim cleric Anjem Chaudary himself.
