WHY SOME PEOPLE HATE COPS (AN EX-CON EXPLAINS)

I doubt you will find a more illuminating, insightful talk anywhere on the subject of police conduct than this one by David Wood.   Wood grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with barely any family life, was convicted of various felonies, and several times wound up in prison.   His experience taught him that police and correction officers  fall into one of five categories.  The fifth category generates the hatred.  He knows it firsthand.   Some readers may recognize Wood as the man who roomed with  Nabeel Qureshi in college.  As a result of their dialogs, Qureshi wrote the book Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus.    I urge you to take the time to listen.  It will be well worthwhile and you will discover that the minutes fly by!   (Wood's suggestions for needed reform begin at the 48:33 minute mark)

JUNE 12, 2020 - MARK STEYN SUBSTITUTES FOR RUSH LIMBAUGH

The brilliant Mark Steyn again substituted today for Rush Limbaugh who is battling cancer treatments but will be returning to his radio microphone next week.   Steyn is, of course, the best substitute imaginable.   He can hardly utter a sentence or two without displaying his unique wit, irony and biting humor.  He calls this week's activities, The March of the Morons.   I post this not only out of appreciation for Mark, but also for the convenience of having it available to catch a couple segments that I earlier missed!   111 minutes
